Event Photography for the Ella Dawson Foundation

As part of our social objectives we want to use Photography for Social Change. Sometimes that is about supporting people to create their own photographs and other times it’s about me taking the shots.

When I heard that the Ella Dawson Foundation were organising a festival to raise funds for their work supporting young adults to live well through and beyond Cancer I was so moved by Ella’s story and the aims of the foundation set up in her name that I reached out and offered to photograph the event for them.

It was such a wonderful experience to be a part of this festival, the atmosphere and energy was amazing - most of all I am filled with admiration for everyone involved at the foundation for organising such a wonderful event that brought local people and businesses together in community and connection in support of this cause.

I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking suffice it to say that over £11,000 was raised through this event and I am honoured to have been able to support it.
